Would you guys go with 275 or 285 @ the rear??

It's about time for some new tires and think I need to switch from the ****ty T1Rs....

I do track my car every once in a while.

F9.5" +19/R10.5 +29 . . . Lowered 1" at the moment the Tein Basic set-up with more adjustment available. However, I did have the rear fenders rolled in advance. The KDW2's are a meaty tire with a thicker sidewall. Agressive rear offsets may present themselves to be a problem.

Wally, I was going to bring that up over at Cal Speedway. You should definately go 285!

By the way, why don't you like the T1R's?

well I don't think my T1R's are hooking up like i'd like them too anymore. I needed a change anywho. We'll see how these do when I get them.

I won't have a chance to get them before LACR on the 20th. but hopefully around May.

LOL . . . Nice job, Leon.

Wally, I really like this tire/wheel set-up. The KDW2's can be noisy during certain road conditions. Other than that, they have performed quite well and I couldn't be more pleased. Those pics were with the OEM suspension set-up. I later switch to Z H-Techs and finally to the Tein Basic set-up. I think I am almost done.

Wally,

My track plans have been put on hold. Initially, when I got my G, that was the plan. Yes, prior to the KDW2's I was running on the OEM Potenza RE050A's.

I absolutely love the way the car handles now with the new wheel/tire combo and suspension mods, which were added. The said afforded a whole new experience/sensation when driving the twisties, agressively. I would love to hit the track, at some point. However, then I would like to get a different set of wheels, upgrade the brakes and suspension . . . And that all adds up to more costs.

Always go as wide as possible, with your wheel/suspension setup. Sounds like you'll be fine with 285
