Re: SSR Agle Strusse

So should I go with 19 x 9 +19 (HP) and 19 x 10 +29 (MD)?

Re: SSR Agle Strusse

If they are similar inside clearance as the minerva's you can try to go off my specs.

I have 20x10 +24 NR(89mm lip) rear and 20x9 +44 HP front(39mm lip)

On the front I had to user a 3mm spacer. It's not hub centric. The smallest hub centric spacers come in were about 5 or 10mm. I really don't like the idea of using a spacer especially when you pay that much for rims.

If you really like that design I would honestly suggest looking at a brand carried in local stores or have specific specs that'll fit your car. I think the whole Agle series is only "made by order". You'll have to wait a long time to get them from Japan and it sucks to find out they won't fit. I waited 3 months for the set to come, then found out the front was for a non-brembo car. Everyone told me I could trust SSR at judging the specs too, given that they were told it's for a V35 with Brembos. Since the fronts didn't fit I had to wait about another 2 months to get the fronts that would fit.

After hearing I had to use spacers I really didn't want them anymore, but that would be pretty messed up towards the shop that ordered them. Its all good though the rims are great. The overall quality is good. If your willing to take your chances and can bear the wait, go for it! You'll be happy once you get them on your car.

I just don't recommend getting the SMC (super metal coat). It's a process very similar to how our stock 18's are. If you chip or scratch them it'll be very noticeable and hard to repair. With our lovely pads that leave a lot of dust I'm constantly cleaning the rims. Being deep dish little pebbles get stuck on the lip sometime and I have to pick them all off before wiping them down. If you don't you'll get a big gash.

I hope my post helped you out. Good luck.

Re: SSR Agle Strusse

Thanks for the info. I feel the same way about the spacer and it sucks to wait but I want something that isn't going to be common. How did the +44 fit the front? I thought the higher the offset the more pushed in the rim was.

Re: SSR Agle Strusse

sorry to bring up an old thread. I think I made a mistake on the +44. It might have been +25, I tried looking for the spec stickers on the rim,but I think they were pulled off when the tires were mounted.
