19's or 20's

Can anyone offer thier opinions on this subject. I need some new shoes. I can't decide between the 19's and the 20's. Just checking to see if maybe someone has some good/bad experiences with either that can help me decide. It isn't that big of a difference in actual looks, but the price between the two sizes in the same wheel is a little more than $100.00 which isn't that much. From what I have searched and seen on this forum, 19's seem to be fine for most coupe drivers, but there is a certain few that like the 20's. Please offer an opinion if you have one...

I'd get a pair of both. I've had 20's and didn't mind the ride on my Nitto 555's. I know have 19's and have no complaints so far. 20's fill the gap in the wheel well and some 20's really look huge. I also think it has something to do with the drivers taste. Someone who likes to "bling" may go with some 20's but for most of us tuners we'll settle for 19's. I am in in between because I like them both.

Im also on the fence about 19's or 20's.

20's may be too big, and all that extra weight is all i think about. Does it really make a difference, will the car feel sluggish riding on 20's as opposed to a lighter weight 19" volk?

if you're comparing the same wheel in 20 and 19 then weight is one of the biggest factors, not only do you have to take in account that rotational inertia will transfer to a lot more weight than just the added pounds for the 1 inche dif. but thats from a kid who only paid attention to physics when it was about cars, someone around here has the unabridged explanation. i have 19s with a drop and by no means do they look too small

Ive narrowed it down to either 19" Black TE37's or 19" Black SF Challenges.

How do you like the te37's, the time attacks must look sick on a red coupe..

Man the roads in va suck in alot of places. Mostly on the interstates. It isn't to bad though. Its liveable.

I have decided to go with the 19's. Now the question is offset, which is very important. From what I have been reading from searching. 20 is the common offset for 19's to have a flush, yet aggressive look. 35 - 40 is to sunk in, and 15 - 10 is stuck out way to much. Anyone agree or disagree?

I went with 20" because I thought in this style they looked just right.
Ride is a tiny bit more firm but not enough that my wife noticed (she thought it had the same ride quality as OEM.)

I weighed the possible risk of injury compared to the OEM 19's. I found that
since I'm running a wider wheel , the 20" will consume the blow of a small pot
hole. If I hit a large pot hole, I'm screwed either way (19/20).

I feel you have to find the right design to fully appreciate a 20"
on this car.
