New Rims and Tires
Thinking about getting new rims and of course tires to go with them.
I love this rim, its a 19in.

Tires that would come with it are Kumho Spt, All-Season y-rated tires. Anyone know much about this brand of tires, if good/bad?
Also it would be going on a diamond gray G35x 2006

with g35x, i'd go with 19x8.5 all around, +43 offset. Kumho SPT are so-so, there are better all-season tires. michelin pilot sport A/S or pirelli pzero nero M&S, for example.

not less power. You're adding unsprung weight which affects the acceleration of the car. The car has the same power, but you're adding more weight making the car harder to move. You will also experience a loss in braking from the added weight.

What are you trying to do. Race or cruise around town. I was debating on 19 or 20 and I got the 20 and yes I accelerate alittle slower, but man it looks 10 times better and you can still do 100 if you want to.

I'm kind of being pulled two ways...
I've heard from several different people that shops don't stock 19 inch tires, so if I get a flat, I'm screwed. I'm currently in Utah and flat tires isn't an uncommon thing unfortunetly since their roads blow. I've heard they don't stock 19 inch tires from the infiniti dealership in town and from another tire shop.
If I go with 20 inch, I have the added weight to the car, thus slower acceleration. I'd like to keep my acceleration at the higher end instead of decreasing it.
I'm running the stock 17 inch tires right now, and rather not just go up an inch to 18, I'd like to make a difference if I'm gonna do aftermarket rims. So.....I'm....stuck haha.
