I'm about to buy new tires, and i was wondering should i go with 285 or 275 on 9.5"? also, the offset for the rear tires is +25, do i need to get spacer if i want my wheels flush with the fenders ?

Regards

you can easily fit a 285 under there with a +25

neither one of those sizes are correct, you should be running 275/35/19 or 285/35/19 on a coupe

put it in a tire calculator yourself. Stock size is 245/40/19

why listen to others when you can do the research yourself?

+1...also 30 series would look stretched and not offer much wheel protection.

how would the series of tire effect the "stretch" of a tire? Only the width of the tire does that

yup, those are the exact sizes I run, though I would bump the fronts up to a 255/35/19 if its available

i thought he's running 275 on 10.5. 275 looks a bit stretched on 10.5...couple that with a thinner wall tire like 30 series, it will definitely offer less wheel protection.

A lower profile means less sidewall and thus more of a stretch if you are running a tread patch thinner than the width of the rim. I have tried both a 275/30/20 and 275/35/20 on my car; the 30 looks quite a bit more stretched but I went with it because it is very close to my stock diameter.

not a 285 on a 9.5 though, which is what we are talking about, a 285 will actually slightly bulge on a 9.5" wheel
