Is it safe to store the stock Dunlop 215/55/17 tires with rims (i wont unmount the tires from rim) in my friends garage on top of each other once I put my work wheels on?

i have no intention of selling the rims - tires maybe.

 

i stock my winter tires in my garage for 9 -10 months before use again.

 

wash and dry them thoroughly, and apply a coat of wax and tire protectant such as 303 aerospace to keep the rubber from drying out. Then bag them before stacking them in black bags to preven UV exposure

 

+1 i would also put a piece of carboard on top of the stack before u wrap them in plastic. i stored a set of wheels in my garage and some liquid stained one of the wheels...

 

forgot about that, I use cardboard and bubble sheets also
