General Exclaim UHP tires...reviews?

Is anyone running or have used General Exclaim UHP tires? Customer reviews on discounttire.com gave it a 4 out of 5 stars and pricing is unbelievably cheap!

225/35ZR/19 - $115
235/35ZR/19 - $120
245/35ZR19 - $125

Any information provided is greatly appreciated. Tread life expectancy, handling in dry and wet conditions, anything and everything.

TIA guys!

I have them - about 6,000 miles now. For the money, they are great. My only gripes are tread squoosh - on initial turn in they squirm a bit. I guess the tread depth or size does this. The second is noise. They are little noisier than the stock Potenza's, but much cheaper. I drive about 25K-30K miles annually and they are perfect. Tread life is great too.

to be honest with you. i think the exclaim uhp is the best tire you can get for the money. i had those on my last set of rims and they were great. traction was A LOT better than the toyo t1r's i have now. thread wear isnt too great though and more road noise than stock tires. but handling is awesome. if your looking for comfort or ride quality. then skip the tires and get somethign else. if your looking for an improvement in handeling, then get these tires. and in wet conditions there great.

Great reviews! Thanks myG35ZX and savefatkids!! I'm still running the stock Potenza's at 31k, about 7k tread life left but both rears have been patched up twice and air slowing leaks. I'm finding myself having to pump air once a month. Not safe when going to Vegas.

I'm not an agressive driving but I do stop on a dime on occasion so the "tread squoosh" worries me. I've had Dunlop Sport A2's and those babies were sweet. But seriously I'm not looking forward to spend $1k on tires. I could look over the noise factor if I'm saving $500+. lol

Are the prices I posted pretty accurate or can I find them cheaper? savefatkids I notice you're in the SGV area. What shop and price did you get it for?

Thanks again guys. Keep the reviews coming!

Thanks savefatkids! If prices aren't significantly different ($100+), I rather go to Kings Discount and give a local guy business.

does it come in 275/35/19 or 285/35/19 though? You didn't list the prices on those, and the 225 and 235's are too small for the G

Very good tires - and when you can get a good deal on them they are a phenomenal bargain.

General is made by Continental tire also if you did not know - they make good tires.

Hey redlude97 said 225/35 or 235/35 (fronts) and 245/35 (rears) won't work. What setup did you guys go with and where there any reported problems with the tpms, speedo, etc?
