I am thinking about getting a set in the SBC - Super Black Chrome finish. My coupe is BS - Brilliant Silver. 19x9 and 19x10. What do you guys think about those? No pics because I think most of us here know these wheels very well. All opinions welcome. Thanks.

I think they are sick, if I had to do it again, I would go wider, you should look at 19x9.5 +18 and 19x10.5 +5/11 +11 for a huge lip

yup..u should be able to go 9.5" wide +12 on a high disk (if u have brembos) and yield a 72mm lip (2.83") up front...or if u dont have brembos..u might be able to pull a 9.5" wide on a +10 offset and get a 84mm lip (3.3") on a medium disk. ...other factors are involved though, like how low of a drop, what type of tire u want, performance vs looks, etc... for the rears...i would jus do a 10.5" on a +5 offset to max out the lip to 123mm (apprx 4.84 inches) on a super low disk. prolly might need to roll the rear fenders though...but would look hella sick

the 10.5+5 has the same outer position as a 11+11 but will allow the tire to stretch a little more for more fender clearance. Its goingn to be a tight fit either way
Damn, you guys are going to have me putting a wide body kit on the car. The wheels are closeout @ TireRack 19x9 +31 and 19x10 +37 $399 each. I know the offsets are weak, but I was just going to use 15mm and 20mm spacers. I know I will not get the huge lip, but they should look good and you can not beat the price. I like the big lip look, but it can be a pain in the *** to keep nice on a daily driver. What about the color...SBC. Have you seen this in person? How does it look on silver car? Should I go for it or turn and walk?

I am not looking to roll fenders. What offsets do you have on your 8.5, 9.5 setup. By the way your cars looks great. Love the wheels and the step lip. Nice and clean.Originally Posted by redlude97

Mine are 8.5+20 and 9.5+30 with a 25mm spacer so 9.5+5 in the rear. Fronts i'll in installing a set of 15/20mm spacers to get back to +5/+0. +37 is extremely weak and will net a wimpy looking lip IMO, better off with a different setup.

Like I said before, lip size is not my biggest concern. I already have a set of G-Games 99B and they look great with about a 1 1/2 inch lip. I just really love nice five spoke rims. My biggest concern with this wheel is the SBC finish. I am not a fan of chrome on this car and I am worried these will look too much like chrome. Has you seen this finish in person and if so how does it look? Like you, $399 a wheel is almost too good to pass up.Originally Posted by redlude97

I think you should do it. SBC is such a beautiful finish (when clean...lol).

i guess if ur not concerned w/ lip size....u should be okay. plus that's pretty cheap. save urself about 600-700 bucks. but dont u have to tack on another 80 bucks or so per wheel for the sbc? i think the sbc looks nice. i was actually looking at those g-games 99b. like how the rear face has that small concave action going on. well, u should do it. esp if its in stock so u dont have to wait 10-12 weeks
haha.

Excellant Wheels. They are light compared to OEM 19" rims and my D5R's. The finish is high quailty. Nice and Thick paint with a mirror like lip... I have a set in the black on a BS coupe also. The only thing is that they are 18"ers. I wish I got the staggered set up back then
I chose the 18"s for ride quality due to poor road surfaces in my area.

$399 is the price for each wheel with the SBC finish and that is tough to beat. The offsets are not aggressive, but that does not bother me too much. Tirerack is closing these out. I like the style and they are relatively light weight...25lbs. My only concern is the color. I have never seen this color in person and I don't want to look too blingy. Not a fan of chrome finish on this car. Does anyone have any pics they could share of this wheel in the SBC finish or know anyone here who has these? Thanks.

SBC with low offsets, yours won't look anything like this, but it'll give you an idea.

Very nice. Very nice. Do you happen to know the offsets on those bad boys? Thanks so much for stepping up with the pics. Those look great. You have been a big help to me in making this decision. Thanks again.Originally Posted by redlude97
