You where almost correct, the US stern distributor only has 20x9.5 in offsets 25mm and 35mm. I talked directly to the distributor that said the rims are made in 48mm but that they get sets of rims from overseas just sent to them with the more popular offsets and can't special order, so that they wouldn't know when they would get any 48s in. Seems pretty lame to me.

I will assume that the 38s would stick out like crazy and since i'm also lowering it, would not be a good idea at all. I really wanted those rims damnit. oh well I guess...

Anybody have any suggestions / links for a staggered setup with offsets that will work on some chrome rims less than $1500? I know i'm being cheap with my rims, but i'm just going for the look, not the performance. Thanks

do you only want 20 inches or it can be 18, 19, 20. That price range can get you rims that are stagger in smaller sizes, when its 20 inches, you are limited to a few choices.

20's is what i prefer. I'll take a look at non-chrome also. Any 20 inch staggered setups i'll take a look at.

Sorry about that I know I inquired with the distributer the beginning of the year and we came to the same conclusion. Is your 1500 budget including rims and tires or just rims alone? You can get any Axis rims, MRR, Privat, HP, Neeper, 19" Sevas for that price if it's just rims but if you want tires included at that price look into ADR, TSW, HP, Zenetti, Dezenyo etc...

Either 1500 total or under 1500 for rims, it wouldnt matter. There are so many rim websites, if you have any site suggestions on good prices for rims, especially with staggered offsets, please post.

Thanks!

So, just to be sure... 20x9.5 with +35 will not work? Or would it just require a fender roll? What are the workable offsets for 20x9.5 for a lowered sedan with/without fender rolling?

to be safe without rolling fenders....+40 at least...i would run +43

I put that because you probably want to run wide tires

I have a suspicion that one of my rears is actually a +38 and the other is a +45... I'll find out this weekend, but if it's true, the +38 looks almost flush, just sticks out a bit...

I looked closer at the stern site and see now that the +35 are only offered in 5x112 bolt pattern, so I guess i'll have to go with +38, which should be fine, right?

Yeah I also have a set of Sevas S-55's that are 10" +40 in the back.

A +35 9.5" would fit if you roll your fenders. It will be very tight.

Would the +35 give it a bigger lip than a +48? And being a tight fit, do you think I could roll the fenders and drop it and be ok?

I called them and they said they had these in +48, although I like my first pick better:

Yes a +35 should have a larger lip than the same wheel in a +48. All wheels are different so that might not be the case for all. For instance, my Volks have a smaller lip in the front than my Sevas because of the spoke design but the Volk is a +39 and the Sevas is a +40. The Volks will clear a 14" BBK and the Sevas wont. (#1 reason I still don't have one!)

The +48 is a better fit for the sedan. With rolling your fenders and the +35 9.5" your rear will look almost the same as the one in my sig pic which does stick out a tiny bit. They don't rub.

OK. If my calculations are correct the +35 to +48 is slightly over a 1/2 inch, so it would be like running 20x10s like you have in your sig. I would just have to roll the fenders and I should be ok? Sorry to beat this question into the ground, but I don't really want any surprises when I order. I appreciate your patience.

BTW, I was going to go with the 2nd choice of wheel in my last post because they had the offset, but they have all finishes but chrome, and thats the finish I want! They have silver, black and hyper black... What the hell is hyper black? From what I can tell it's like a shinier silver?
