Stern 20" offset question

Hi all,
I know offset questions have been asked many times here, but I dont seem to find the answer to my question with search... so i'll ask you pros!

I wanted to pick up a set of staggered 20" stern st-1s for my 03 sedan. With all the research i've done, would the best offsets be f:35 r:48? If anybody has better advise that would be great, i'm willing to roll the back fenders if needed. Here's a link to sterns site and what offsets are available in that particular rim:

http://www.sternwheels.com/

Thanks!

it depends on the width of your wheels. I am selling my stern St-IIs soon, they are solid wheels.

if you're going 20x8.5/20x9.5 then yes +35F/+48R is a good offset. You shouldnt even have to roll the fenders in the rear.

yes, forgot to post width. 20x8.5 and 20x9.5 is correct. Thanks for the replies. Gonna order. ebay baby! I'm going chrome. 1150.00 shipped seems like a pretty good price, if anybody knows a better price, post a link..

I didnt run stagger on this set of 20's so I am running 20x8.5 +38 all around. The front is really really really close to the fender and if you dont run the exact spec or higher offset it will rub. (good thing the front fender came rolled from factory). The rear is very close to fenderline without rolling fenders so if you are running 20x9.5 you should get around +43mm from the sterns. I know I dont have a stagger setup and might not be what you're looknig for, no biggie but if you are interested nontheless PM me.

You won't have to roll the fenders with a +48 that will be perfect not too flush with the rear fender it should sit just under it perfectly I didn't even know they had sterns st1 with a +48 in the rear I thought they were all +38 on their 9.5" rims. That's a good price too for chrome and staggard. Does that include the lug nuts and wheels locks and hubcentric rings?

that is a good deal, make sure you specify your offsets to the seller because if you get +15mm on those wheels..........LOL.............it wouldnt be too pretty

BTW...+38mm in the rear with 9.5 rear might require rolling of fenders depending on size of tire...im not sure how high of an offset the sterns do.

definitely gonna specify offsets! lol! told them i was driving a sedan, because all the listings i find on ebay are for coupes. http://www.sternwheels.com/ has all the offsets they sell, so thats why i went with f:35 r:48, seems closest to what everybody is running around here. 245/35 upfront and 275/30 rear looks like the favorite tire combo around here also.

Got a set of tein basics on the way also. Painted the bottom rock guards or whatever they call em to match the car, damn ugly on the 03s and 04s. Clear corner and leds all around. Thats pretty much all im gonna do with this car on the outside anyway. Keeping it simple and sweet

The ebay seller is recommending I go with a 38 offset all the way around. Why would he recommend that? Would that work? I don't think i've seen many staggered setups around here running the same offset all the way around...

It will not work you will have some serious problems when you install your springs with a +38 the seller doesn't know what he is talking about. Stick with the +35 and +48. He probably has more +38 all around in stock more than the +48

Does the ST-1 come in +48? I was told they only make up to +38
