hey guys,

i need some help. i am going to buy my car tomm. i am going to upgrade to 19s so i was wondering which wheels would be easier to sell.

how much will 18s go for. 1300-1500 or am i asking too much

17s?? can i can $700.

i checked ebay and there arent too many oem wheels being sold and less people bidding on them.
i just dont want to get stuck with a set of 18s or 17s. does anyone want 18s or 17s here?? hehehe

this board is awesome. hopefully i can work a deal tomm and post some pixs up.

There isn't a high demand for the 18s right now because so many people are selling them. On the other hand you'd have a brand new set of Pilot Sports and they go for about $300 a tire. I'm sure someone wouldn't mind buying those from you.

all the guys with 19s. did u get the 18 sport package or the 17s.

and how are u selling the oem wheels/tires.

The value of the Sport Package other than the wheels, is the LSD Diff. If that's not important to you get the 17" wheels. The Sport Package costs $900.00, and the value of a set of brand new 18s with tires is from $1300 to $1500. Net out pocket (net profit $400. to $700.) The value of brand new 17s is between $500 to $700. A little safer investment. But again, consider the LSD. If it were me, I'd get the LSD.

BTW, I sold my 18s with 5,000 miles on them to a "Z" owner on my350z.com for $1150.00.

with the flood of oem 18" wheels, good luck gettin much more than 1100 for them with the new tires.

but hey, 1100$ will just about cover just the tires for your 19" rims.

believe it or not the cost of the rims are 840...got that price from the insurance adjuster. im not suggesting you get them stolen or anything of course. its too there wasn't any other way.

i don't really understand want you're getting at there.. i had seen $700 per rim posted somewhere else so i quoted that in the auction. i don't really see what it matters. the wheels are straight off my coupe.

am about to get 19s this sat...does anyone need a set of perfect 17s with like 200 miles on them.

it seems kinda hard to sell to g35ers. do yall think i should try axima guys or altima guys..???

i need some cash to help the damage the volks are going to do.

 

Z people seem to be buying G rims, who knows, maybe someone with 17s on a Z (does that exist?) would want them. If I were to sell my wheels, I'd try the Z boards first.
