I did some research about switching to a different tire size. My lease is up next summer and my tires are close the min tread to turn in the car before they get picky. The stock tire is 235/45-18. My friend has a set of 255/45-18 that I can "borrow" until its time to turn in my car w/ the stock tires back on.

They will be about 10" closer to the suspension and I'm hoping this won't affect anything during a tight turn w/ clearance the fender well. The will also stick out 10mm as well, but I'm not too concerned about that. Its only a 3% difference in rolling radius so the speedo will be close to today. I hate to have them mounted and then learn so I wanted to throw out this post to see if anyone has some advice.

 

I run 245 45 18" on mine, no probs. However, I think 255's will be a bit too big on a 7 1/2" wide rim.
