Too aggressive?

I'm planning on picking up a set of 19s with a pretty aggressive offset. I have a G coupe and my rear fenders are rolled in preparation. The wheels I'm looking at have specs as follows:

Front 19x9.5 +15
Rear 19x10.5 +15

Are these wheels too aggressive for a G? They are coming off of a Z and look awesome. I have seen some G owners run 19x9.5 +17 F & 19.10.5 +18 R, didn't know if the few extra mm's would make that big of a difference. Thanks in advance for the input.

Julian

depends on the which tires you plan on running, how low your car is and how much negative camber you plan on running.

I am currently running Tanabe DF210 springs for my drop (1.8f, 1.6r) and will be running 275/30's in the rear and 245/35's in the front. My camber is at -2.4 degrees right now.

they'll fit fine, the G has a few mm of extra clearance than the 350z, so if it fit on a Z, then it will fit on a G

Oh yeah?! I always thought that Z's had a little more fender clearance than a G. News to me!

Thanks,
Julian

stick with 275/35...roll your fenders and have some aggressive camber...you'll be fine.

lots of people run +17 on a 10.5" rear...2mm isn't much of a difference.

Lots of people run +17 10.5 with 275/35/19 and don't roll their fenders, so with a fender roll, I think +10 should be easily doable, +15 is nothing

but most members with a 275/35 & 10.5 wheel aren't dropped on df210s!

if he rolls the fenders, then he can get away with a more positive camber.

True . The Tanabes are a low drop! I was looking into some coilovers also to help out. Anybody have pics of the fender clearance of a 10.5" wide wheel with a +17 offset?

you most definitely need to roll your fenders if you're running +17 in the rear. i was only dropped on htechs with +18 gt-s and i rubbed whenever i hit a dip...this was before the roll.
