Recommended Wheel Upgrade

I drive a stock '05 G35X with the std 215/55-17 Goodyear GS-A's. There are not many high-end tire choices in this size. I would like to upgrade to 18's but in order to maintain the same rotation I need to go with 235/45-18's - with even less tire options. Any suggestions from those who have been down this path?

I purchased a set of the 05/06 18" sedan sport wheels with the Goodyear 235/45/18 summer performance tires for my 05X and I was happy with them

you don't have to keep the oem 215/55/17 size. many people, including me, are going with 225/50/17. nearly the same overall diameter, more tire choices, and a more aggresive look.

Doing the same thing on my 05 35x before this winter with the 225/50/17 when I replace my stock tires, still shopping for a set of 20's on 245/35/20's non staggered, might wait till next spring.
