18x9 wheels all around?

Looking at going 18x9 w/40mm offset for both front and rear on a 255/40/18, is it possible, or should I just stick to 18x8 front and 18x9 rear?

I'm currently dropped on unrevised 350z springs, but might go lower in the front.

Currently

Here's the possible wheel, some concave to it.

comparison of the concave 18x9 on left and 18x8 on right

I know inTgr8r ran 255/40/18 tires on 8.5/18 rims all around with a 42mm offset on his 04 Sedan. He would have a good idea if they would fit, he was dropped also. Maybe you could check with him for his opinion.

Yeah, just trying to see if it will fit and then also if someone has done a similar setup and perhaps what it looks like.

Hey bowzer those axis wheel I think come in a 18x8.5 with the deep dish. That set up is so you can run what looks like staggered but it really is not. But I could be wrong on the offset. I will look again when I am off at work.

^^^I think the ones you are talking about are the maxis lips, this wheel (gravity) doesn't have them as an option.
According to the website they only come in standard 18x8 and 18x9 sizes.

A 9" with a 255 is possible up front depending on your drop and camber but it may rub. I tried 255's on my 20x8.5's (+38) a while back with a 1.3" front drop and they rubbed bad.

so then is the problem that the thread is in the wrong section(which it isn't) or that the sedan owners don't like to venture outside of the sedan section? Shouldn't the blame be put on the people who don't leave the section?

Thanks for some advice on fitment. Maybe it's best to stick with 8" up front.

What would be an ideal tire size for a 9" rim on this setup?

But that's not my point at all, I posted this same exact question here a week and a half ago and got no responses. So i then decide to post in the sedan section (which just happens to be what I drive) to get sedan owners experience as to wether this setup could fit, and after receiving a couple good responses in a few hours the thread gets moved back here.
I've seen on numerous occassions in the sedan forum a question get answered pertaining to sedan owners wheels/tires fitment.

A couple recent examples. end rant

I'm not sure who moved this, but we can't catch all the threads, and you have gotten feedback from members with coupes here as well, which probably wouldn't have seen the thread in the sedan section, its a double edged sword unfortunately. We encourage members to explore the entire site, not just limit themselves to one section
