curbed volks.

well i been curb free for the last 8 months and it happens i curbed my volks pretty stupid to wasnt even driving just turned the wheels since i was on a hill and idnt want a ticket..... the wheel should be repairable but does anyone know if it can be done with out losing my volk gtm engraving and do you think i can just fix one wheel or will the shade be off from the others? i think i heard volk uses a different coating over this lips is this true?

The engraving is on the anodized lip, which will have to be removed to some extent to fix that wheel, so I doubt it will be salvagable. The finish on the lip will be slightly different afterwards also and may be noticeable. It will be bare aluminum also so it will have to be repolished occasionally to keep the shine. My advice, order a new one, or have all the lips stripped and repolished to get rid of the shitty anodizing. That way you can always fix the scratches in the future

damn, i just talked to couple buddys and looks like the best way to go is get a new outer barrel.... lets see how much and how long that takes

they do if you send it to them and they replace it for you.

Hey that doesn't look as bad as you made it sound on the phone. You can get that repaired no PROBLEM. Call me tomorrow...

its pretty rashed, even if they repair it wont my lip be off color?

Listen to redlude and get that anodized lips stripped that way next time it happens you can just get the wheel fixed and repolish the lip. Lets face facts if you use it as a daily driver your going to scratch another one eventually.
