Brembo brakes on sedan

Has anyone put together a parts list for Brembo brakes off the coupe for a 6mt sedan? I know I can go aftermarket, but I like the copper color of the coupe's brakes. Also, any pic's of a sedan with the coupe's 18 inch wheels.

Yes it can be done, but no one's done it. Supply is nil on them, any set that has turned up has commanded top dollar and sold within hours or in advance of ever being posted in public. Non track 350Z owners want track brembo's pretty bad, good luck every finding a set of them. People post wanted post's on my350Z.com for them all the time. I'd like to have them, but have other priorities, I've never run out of brakes,......yet.

Re: Brembo brakes on sedan

Not to mention, there are much cheaper solutions. Unless you're actually going to run the car at a track, all you really need are some high-performance brake pads, and the stock rotors.

I know they sell high-temp paint for painting calipers... black and red and such, there may be a gold color out there. This would be the cheapest route if you're just going for looks. There's a thread in the FAQ section, I think, on painting your calipers.

Remember, too, that bigger brakes don't help you stop faster. Bigger brakes cool off faster.. so they don't fade under heavy use (read: at a track event).

I've put together a price list here at work and it'd be cheaper to get the full out 14" 6-piston AP Racing big brake upgrade up front and the AP racing rear upgrade too....

Well bigger brakes don't necessarily cool faster, but because there is more mass, it can absorb more heat without fading.

They can be put on... The OE Brembo Brakes list for somewhere around 6400!!!!

A 4 wheel stop tech kit will be much much much less then that...

I know some people taking off their brembo's shortly too...
