Newbiw here - Where can I find a good tire/rim package for my G35

Hey guys, thanks for checking out my question here. As a new owner of a G35 heading into winter in central Illinois I'd like some suggestions as to where I can find a good tire and wheel combo for winter. I am driving an 07 G35 Sport with 18's I'd like to get good winter tires on a set of rims (leaning toward black rims). I have heard Blizzaks are the best for winter traction and control but I want to hear what you guys have to say. Theres a garage here that will take shipments from on online site if I choose to do so. Help me out with suggestions/websites/advice! I appreciate it.

Winter Rims?

OK so I go to tirerack and it says no winter wheel/tire packages are available. Yet I can still put together a package with these rims:

What do you think of these rims with Blizzaks on a black obsidian G?

Also: Do I really need the tire sensors? I can live with the dash light being on for a few months of the year.

Thanks guys.

I left off the sensors on my rims. The light only comes on after 40 miles of non-stop driving then goes off after turning off the ignition. It's just a safety option.

Granted I don't live in a place that requires snow tires, but why not just put snow tires on your stock wheels? Then you wouldn't have to worry about TPMS since it would already be in there.

Tpms

Well..just thinkin that it will be a hassle to mount/dismount tires ttwice a year and the beating the rims may take with that vs popping the tires off...storing them and popping the new set on without all the labor. I'm still new at this...open to suggestions.

I guess my thought is that if you're planning on getting aftermarket wheels, you might as well get something you really like (and are an upgrade from what came stock, of course)....otherwise, the ~$100 for mount/dismount/balance to switch tires on the current rims is probably worth it rather than buying new wheels and tires and having to store them for 75% of the year. Just a thought for you to consider.

Also another thought for you to consider....make sure to have your tires mounted and dismounted at a reputable shop. There are too many incidents where people (including me, unfortunately) have brought their wheels to crappy shops and had their wheels scratched/chipped during the mount/dismount process.
