I know this might sound dumb, but i notice that when go over bumps, it seems like shocks are gone or somthing because the ride seems very rough. LIke i know what a car sounds like when the shocks are gone, ( the car makes loud thump type noises when you go over bumps ). Is the coupes suspension just like that?? and the fact that its got 18"s???

 

It is the normal suspension and 18" wheels. It is also a way of letting you know you are going over the speed bump too fast.

 

Maybe you have too much air in your tires. I had too much air in mine about 45psi and it rode very hard, so check the pressures.

how can u tell if your shocks are gone? and arent they struts?

We have shocks not struts on our cars. Either way when they are gone you will know.

er? shocks really? when i bought my 350Z suspension, it was the springs and struts. are shocks different? and how will i know?

push down on the hood and when the car comes back up from downward pressure, if it moves up and down more than 3 times, the shocks have some issues.

Also, take a look at where the shocks meet. Sometimes you can see oil and if you can, the seals are blown.
