Need Answers with Tein S Tech Springs and 19's!!!
Ok ok, well I asked quite a few of you questions about the max size ont he stock size 17 inch sport rims for the sedan and I was gonna lower my car with the Tein S Tech springs. But now I looked on ebay and saw an AMAZING price on these ADR M-Classic sport rims 19x8.5 inch, 1 1/2 inch lip and 22lbs, hyper silver for 600$ without tires. Now its around 200+ to get the springs installed and I am definitely getting these rims now, but my question is its alot to get the springs installed plus the rims so if I take the springs back and jsut get 19 inch rims for my sedan what will the fender gap look like? and if I go ahead witht he springs and rims will it lower my car too much? also the rims on their website have a tire package of 235/35-19, why are they so small in width and what is the largest I can go? Also 1 more question that determines wether i get them or not the bolt pattern is 5x114.3. and offset is .40mm will that fit on sedan, every 1's input and info is greatly appreciated and needed thanks alot, iLLG Martin!

Alright. You should be good with a 40 offset. The only thing I would be concerned about is clearance in the front for the inner suspension member. I would go with no wider than 235's in the front, but preferably 225's. Tire size would be 225/40/19 in the front, and I would do a 255/35/19 in the rear. Your ride height is not going to change just by changing wheels. It is affected by the springs. So, the gap is essentially going to be the same with the 19's, and if you go with the tire sizes I mentioned, there will actually be slightly more gap. The reason for that is because the stock wheel/tire combo is 26.31" in diameter, and with the sizes I listed, it is more around 26.0" in diameter (very small difference).

Re: Need Answers with Tein S Tech Springs and 19's!!!
Hey khsonic thanks for your reply, one problem though. They didnt have the 225 or 235/40-19's for the front tires. They only have like 235/35-19's for front and like 245/35-19's for back also in the same tire. I wanted soemthing real wide in the back, is the 245 wide? especially for the 19's thanks and also I didnt realize that even twith the extra 2 inches of more rim with the 19's lol the tire on the 17's prob made up for it like you said, thanks man lata. 245's are wide enough. I am only concerned that with a 40 offset, they will rub on the front suspension member. 235's would PROBABLY be ok, but I am not positive. 225's would be the best for the front. 255 is the widest you can put on a 8.5" rim. As far as those sizes go, the rotating diameter will probably throw off the ABS and possibly the VDC. 235/35/19 is only 25.47" diameter, which is over an inch smaller than the recommended diameter for our cars (26.5"). 245/35/19 is still a little on the small side as well. It is only 25.75" in diameter. Call them and check for other available sizes if possible, and if not, just buy the wheels and then buy the tires from tirerack and have someone mount them.
