Question Why do most of the G owners go with VOLK Wheels?

I have noticed that most of the G I see on the road or on the web have VOLK wheels (especially coupe.)

Is there a particular reason why G owner choose Volk over other JDM wheels? Price? Wheels construction? Fitments? What are the factors?

hmmm. there's plenty of peeps with Work wheels too.. and plenty others (sevas, hre, maya, gramlights, etc..)

I still think it just boils down to a matter of preference

I would hesitate to say there are plenty of people with HRE, Maya, and Gramlight wheel. That is compared the the number of people that have Volks at least. Work is also becoming relatively popular. Especially those fugly Vs-XX's.

Is it becuz the G community is not exposed to other JDM brand enough? I understand Volk wheels are decent in quality. But there are many JDM wheels out there such as WORK (everyone knows of course,) WEDS, SSR, Amistad, Fabulous, TrafficStar (Maya,) AME...etc. Those wheels have the same if not better qualities and most of those offer bigger lips.

I like AME, Amistad, Fabulous...its just that there are more deals/specials/group buys with work or volk wheels out there. They are also relatively easier to get since there are so many distributor as well.

volks are light & strong wheels, however, this can be said for other wheels too. i think it a lot of it comes down to people going with what everyone else is buying rather than basing it strictly on what they like.
