So which tires do you prefer?
I know there a lot of pros and cons and facts and opinions about tires. I just want to see what the members on G35driver.com prefer. Are you more for the name, performance or both when it comes to choosing your tires? What type of tires are you currently running on or have ran on? What do you like about them? What do you hate about them? I have had 18's through 20's and have run on several different brands of tires. Thus far I must say I like the Falken FK452's. They are very quiet and feel very aquainted with the roads. I also like the Toyo T1R's for the same reason plus they are less costly but you get a good quality tire.

G35 Coupe "Sport Package"
Falken Grb FK451 in summer and Michelin Pilot A/S in winter.
Very happy with the old school Falkens. They seem to be wearing well with approx. 15K and are pretty quiet and give decent all around performance.
Have not actually run the Michelins yet, but they were only alll season tire I could find in 245-35-19, 275-35-19. should be fine in case I get caught out in light snow.

I have had Nitto, Falken and Toyo's on my car. Right now I'm giving the Kumho SPT's a try.
So far I agree that the Falken's were very nice. The Nitto's and the Kumho's have more grip but are not as nice for daily driving. I like how wide the Kumho's are; they are almost square on my 10" rears with a 275/30. The Falkens were very stretched looking in the same size.

I know you can't have them all, but where is BF Goodrich, Michelin, Dunlop?
It's ok to leave off less common/popular ones like Fuzion, Avon, as well as crap like Maxxis, Nankang, Sumitomo, General, Federal, Kumho, Hankook, etc.. (exception of R-comps from the last 2 co.'s)

Considering most tires on the Coupes end up being throw away tires due to our front end problems, I look for the best deals on pairs of tires. I haven't tried the Falken yet but am willing to give them a try. The Avons were problematic for me with very noisey front tires. I won't go that route again.

Yeah the Generals are decent for the money being I had them on my Gramlights. They got noisy though after 8 months of riding on them.
I've always been happy with the couple pairs of bridgestones and falken's I've run over the years. Will like be going Falken 452's when the time come around to replace my current 451's

Excellent all around tire. I still use Blizzak winters for the fridgid months.
