Wheel Spacers
I am thinking about putting some spacers on my Coupe. I would like to get a little beefier stance. I am on a low budget.
I have searched and search and cant find much on spacers. I know I had seen thread before saying what size most people recommend and have used, but I cant find them now. Any advise or pics would be greatly appreciated. I have the 18" stock wheels.
Thanks in advance.

I am wanting a better look, but I dont want them out so far that they rub when I hit bumps for have people in the back seat. I delt with that on my Mustang when I had Cobra R's on it, and I dont ever wanna go thru that again.

Are you sure you dont have to cut the stock lug studs? I put 1"(approx 25mm) spacers on my 03 Ranger, and I had to cut about 1/4" off the stock studs. Wouldnt I have to cut something off if I am only using a 15-20mm spacer?

I rolled the lip on my Mustang, so I am not affraid of doing it again. Got any pics of what the 20/25's look like????
Does the excess of the stock lug studs run into the back side of the oem wheels?

With the second kind. To me the safest kind. You actually slide it over your stock studs and bolt it to your hub. Then the stubs that are bade into the spacer is what you bold your wheel to.
Here is the issue... Your stock studs are usually longer than 20-25mm. they are are closer to 30mm (i believe). So there is an extra 5-10mm of the stock stubs that stick out past the spacer, which is basically the Hub at this point.
Where does the excess stock stud go? is the back of the stock wheels have an open hub area? or do they need cut? The pic below is my aftermarket snow tires. The open area beside each lug hole is where the extra stud could go, BUT does the stock wheel have the same open area between the lug holes?
