$198 for lugs???

i just wanted to know if anyone would really pay $198 for a set of "racing composite" lugs...

i don't know about you guys, but i haven't seen a set of lugs break by repeated use (removing/installing, over and over). i guess it would be like the "versace" of lugs, yes?

have we gotten that crazy???? well, i wouldn't by it....

Lots of people have these. In fact, lots of people have paid even more for the NeoChro versions.

it was the first time i saw 'em (toys for tots show at cal speedway) from west co nissan. i needed a spare set for my track wheels, asked west co nissan, and this is what they showed me. i saw $190 (because it was at the show) and politely gave them back. i'll stick with mcgard's i was just curious to see how many people (percentage wise at least) actually had them.

When you think about it, $200 seems like a hell of a lot of money for lug nuts, but that works out to about $10 a lug...not that bad really, but it's the fact that you have to buy 20 of them!

Yup, these are the ones I have. The NeoChro R40's. But I didn't pay the normal price that everyone else pays. Thanks Rick (from Status) for hooking me up!

you're right, i haven't seen those lugs that are $1.2k or $519. that's just too much. i guess we are turning into somewhat of a "fashion oriented" industry. ah the brand names and bling factor...i hope that part doesn't get more important than the part that makes you go faster or drive better.....
