winter tire size

I know we have the vdc, but has anyone tried to run winter tires size 225/45-18 on their car all around, is it ok to mounth that size on the rear wheels? I have the 03 sport coupe wheels the 18 inch not sure if they are 8.5 or not.
I need to know this asap, please help.

I don't think 225/18 in the rear will work. Its almost an inch shorter in Diameter than the 245/18.

I used four 225/55/17's on my car with no problem.....it was within the 3% allowance for the rear.

You would loose your stagger like i did, but 245's all the way around would not be a problem........Try to keep the rear diameter as close to stock as possible......

I just put 225 55 17 all around on my 2006 that has 19s stock. I put them on Enkei rims and they work great.
