225/45/18 all around?? quick before pickup
hey
i have a question about snow tires. i have an 04 6mt coupe with the oem 18s.
can i put 225/45/18 blizzak lm-22 on all 4 corners? i know the 18s are 18X8 around but someone posted that the vdc wont like the 225s in the rear. but im only runnning this setup for 2-3 months so idont think it should really matter but just wanna make sure
the reason im going with 225/45/18 in the rear is because i can get a practically brand new set for 350 just wanna make sure i can run this size before i pick it up 2morrow.
thanks
mike

Hey that was me that posted that.
I was actually thinking about doing the same thing before since i found a good deal on 245/45 all around but i never did it.
You can always turn off VDC but i'm thinking you'll need VDC the most when it's snowing. Then again, it might not that be as critical since you'll have better traction with winter tires and as long as you know how to control wheel spin.
This is just my 2 cents but i would wait for other opinions here and see what they have to say.
