Weird Stuff...anybody know the answer?
Weird Stuff...anybody know the answer?
I put my G35x in the shop today for the 3000K oil change. I drive home on a highway that has a lot of turns and every once in a while there may be a dip in the road. My G35x seems to float over the dips like a luxury car. I drove home the loaner car hit the dips on purpose to see how it felt and it was solid like my old BMW 3 series. At that point I said to myself the G35x must have soft suspension. Well...I got home, got out of the car and to my surprise the loaner car is a G35x! Why and how can it have stiffer suspension then my car? Is the suspension adjustable? Please help!!! The suspension is one thing I don't like about my car. Look at my comments in the past concerning the car and that is my major issue. (other then the freezing wiper fluid) Any ideas?
If it's a G it's 4 me!

Hmm. I drove nearly a year on a broken strut, not realizing that it was the cause of my "soft suspension". I thought the Eibach's springs were characteristically soft, but it turns out lack of a functioning strut was the cause.
I doubt this is your problem, but it never hurts to check. Just look for grease/sludge running down the body of the strut.
