Here are 2 diagrams of the sedan (first pic) vs. the coupe front suspension member. I believe the support on the coupe leads to less deflection during cornering, as well as tighter turn in and less chasis flex, among other benefits.

Any comments or opinions are welcome to be discussed. I would like to see the coupe's in person, so anyone who has a coupe in CT and would like to volunteer, let me know. I have a lift, and would do oil changes or any installations (exhaust, suspension, etc.) for those who help. Thanks.

OMG WTF. is there anyway to add that to our sedans? i though my friends coupe felt tighter on turns than my sedan. perhaps this is why.

My guess is that there might be a way to affix this to the sedan, but I need to see a coupe in person from the underside to take measurements, etc. I am sure aftermarket companies will eventually see this and come up with their own brace. Could also be why the coupe is 53/47 and the sedan is 52/48. But there may be reasons why the sedan doesn't have this as well; other than the fact that the sedan is more for luxury and practicality vs. the coupe which is for sport. The sedan's body structure may not warrant such a piece. On the other hand, the 350z has a strut tower brace and the g does not. Any volunteers to come to my garage?

Also if you notice, the sedan has a triangular brace on either side which is similar to the outer part of the coupe's brace. The coupe does not have these.
