I really like these two wheels for my coupe. I want to get something nice, but not so nice as to where it will be big target for thieves. What are the differences in these two wheels? They look very similar, but I would suspect the GR5s are more expensive. Every website I've gone to doesn't list a price for the GR5s for some reason.

Does anyone know the differences between these two wheels and how much the GR5s are? Also, where would be a good place to buy them? What about the weight also? I will probably go with non-chrome 19s if I get either one of these.

Ok... I hear ya, so why are the volks better? I don't know that much about rims.

 

i know a couple guys who have the gr-5's and they are more than happy with them.

I had a set of GR5's and I loved them. I do believe they are a bit heavier than the GT-C's though. Maya's are also more expensive than than Volks and are more of a luxury wheel. The GR5 is also discontinued so they may be hard to get, which is why they don't list a price.

 

Volks ftw. The mayas look like copies of the gt-c, even though they're not.

don't buy based on the name, buy because it's what you like - all else equal or similar at least.

 

If you want 19's go with the volks... If you want 20's go with the maido...

I had the 20" GT-C's and they looked tiny. Now I would go with the others. After seeing a number of them on other G's, I like them way more.

 

I kinda like the Maido's look a little better, but do you have any idea what the price range would be?

 

I have the 20" gtc's and I couldnt love them more. I get compliments on them non stop. just looks better to me. but thats just my opinion.

 

Be different, get the Maya's
