350Z H-Tech on Coupe experience, Camber?

I've searched and there's random info out there, just wanted to get people's experiences if they got camber from H-Tech, some say they were fine and got minor camber then some say they got major camber.

I know each car is different but just curious to see a general review. Thanks!

with any drop over stock your going to see camber issues... stock i think the camber runs about 1.25 degrees negative, which is slightly noticable... with the h-techs your gonna drop about a half inch so your gonna notice ur camber go a little more negative but nothing your really gonna have to worry about.. i think u'll be fine

Considering normal driving how long do you think a new set of tires would last, at worst I had somebody say 6-8 months which seems very short.

I would say a good set of tires will last ~15-20k if you flip them at least 1 once

+1 on flipping them.

..but it must've been awhile since i've been to a tire shop...

didn't realize they charge you differently when mounting tires according to 30-40 series tires, 40-50 series, etc. Last time i remembered, it was one price regardless of size.

Tires + Springs + Labor = $

After reading everyones opinions on what installing H-Tech springs causes
wouldn't it be a good idea to get a camber kit? Especially when you consider
the cost of tires and labor switching tires. My Michelins run $300 each so
a camber kit seems frugil.......

A front camber kit costs anywhere from $350-700 depending on brand, +installation costs. If the camber kit saves you 5-7k of tire wear, then it would take 3-4 sets of tires to recoup the cost. For most people, this is anywhere from 3-8 years of ownership, which at that point will not even own the vehicle anymore. The cost/benefit is pretty poor for moderate drops. In the rear however, the camber kits only cost ~$150, so with the same savings in tire wear, the cost benefit is much higher, they can be paid for in as few as a single tire change. They are also much easier to install and have less associated problems, so its more common to see only rear camber kits recommended

Yes, you do undestand when we say to flip tires, it doesn't just mean to rotate correct? You have to go to a tire shop, and have the dismount and mount the rear tires on the opposite wheels so the inside tread becomes the outside tread for the other wheel afterwards
