Hi guys! Im new here in the forum and just bought a used 06' coupe. This is my first post, and I've been reading a lot of things since the last couple of days, and really helped me a lot! Great forum by the way

Anyways, sorry for the original poster for butting in, but i had to ask,.. I dropped mine using tein stech so now the neg camber is noticeable, my question is will it affect the driving/riding performance of the car for having a negative camber? If yes, can it be corrected by some sway/strut bar? (cheaper than buying a set of camber kits)

Thanks in advance!

I was thinking this as well so it seem the conclusion seems you get 1.8-2.0 negative camber in the front and the back is not as bad?

Some will tell you having negative camber increases performance, but too much is also not good. (over -2.0 degress)

Thanks for the info, I guess I'll keep the neg camber then. Saves me some cash to get other stuff for my G

What about ride quality compared to stock? As well is how are the chance of blowing OEM stock/struts.

I have sport suspension. on my 2003 6mt

not noticible unless you get different springs, which will affect ride quality.. If you go too low you could adversly affect stock struts but that is more of a reason to upgrade to new stuts...

Quote: get a camber kit! dropped on 350z h-techs with my stock camber adjustments maxed, i was still at -2 in the front.
-2 in the front when maxed? i'm not sure if it's different on other years but for my 03 the front cambers are not adjustable.. so i had to live with the -1.5 from the H-techs, which is lower than most ppl on this thread cuz my fronts are 8.5/+26 i think.. so in the end it depends on your offsets quite a bit.. if you are on stock 18's you probably don't need camber at all

From what I found, for the fronts, it's the toe that matters the most for tire wear.

I'm on 350z h-techs and my front camber was at -1.9/-1.6 and I had the front toe set to 0.05 and I still get uneven wear on the front, so a camber kit in the front would not be a back idea.

Crazy that 140 dollar springs get you into 600 dollars worth of camber equipment. I'm at -1.14/-1.32 in the front on stock suspension, -1.32/-1.58 in the rear. Now coilovers.... 1400-1800 + camber kits, yipes.

And yeah, I heard the toe and cross caster were important to wear. Previous owner cupped the right front tire with poor alignment.
