wheel balance question

hey everyone, i have 20 inch mayas mrs and i notice that when i reach 80 my steering wheel starts to vibrate and shake, my question is are you only suppose to balance the front two wheels or all four because my installer says they only balance the front two

right now i have on the stock 17s and cars rides beautifully no shaking in the wheel or anything

in most places, they price you for each wheel to be balanced. Wouldn't hurt to get the front wheels first then come back to do the rear if they still shake.

You could also try hubcentric rings.

Your installer is an idiot. Not only that but you either have a out of balance tire or worse an out of Round tire. And it's on the front if you can feel it in the wheel.

The ones they SAY they balanced....

all wheels MUST be balanced when the tires are mounted on them...

you will also experience vibrations like this is hub rings are not used and the wheels are not centered on the wheel hub!

Be sure to balance the wheels without the tires and correct any errors before you even think about putting tires on them............too many blame the tires when the wheels are junk and don't meet oem specs!
