hi, i hit a really big pothole this mornin and now my car feels funny and it sounds funny too. I talked to this guy in class and he thinks i coulda messed up the alignment - perhaps i am being paranoid but you think the dealer can look at it for me? if so, do you think they will charge me an arm, a leg, and my first born?

 

Potholes suck. If you hit a really big one hard, it can ruin your axle. Then they'll charge you both arms and both legs.

 

Hopefully, it's just a bent rim. When your rim is warped, you feel vibrations, especially in the steering wheel at higher speeds.

alignment is covered under the warranty for the first 12,000 miles. If I were you, I would NOT mention that you hit a pot hole when you take it in.
