Sedan rims/tires: FINAL

Sedan rims/tires: FINAL
ok, once and for all in plain english please:
i searched and searched and dont understand wtf is going on with the sedan rims/tires. my questions are these:
1. what is the widest rim I can put on the front and rear with offsets. (17, 18, & 19 inches)?
2. is it good for handling to stagger, or put widest possible on front and match that for rear?
3. or, is it the tire size that really affects handling (stagger or widest possible on front and match with rear)?
sorry guys, but i totally didnt understand that sedan fitment chart. it makes no sense to me...its easier for me just have a range (ie. 35-45 offset on 8 inch wide rim)
anything else you guys feel should be finalized once and for all in plain english, please add.

Re: Sedan rims/tires: FINAL
go measure your car. that is the easiest way to learn. if you don't understand the fitment chart then you need to learn. in order to learn you need to research and study.
it sounds like you are going to be dropping $2-3k in the near future. I recommend you never do that on somebody's "word".
if you have questions about your research and stuff, feel free to PM me and I will give you my phone number. But it is not worth the time to rewrite the fitment chart.
Best thing is go to a wheel shop and actually fit several different size wheels on your car.

Re: Sedan rims/tires: FINAL
nutty - here's a good explanation on offsets and how to measure for wheel space, etc.

Hope that helps.
