the lip on this rim looks pretty bad, not even shiny and smooth anymore. I was wondering if its possible to get thie repolished so that it will look brand new again?

isn't' re chroming a lip expensive ? aren't you better off buying a new wheel instead?
mine are slightly scuffed right around the very edge of the lip and the shop told me theres nothing they can do about it, rechroming only but theres no point.

Wow those wheels look god awful... I would send the picture to a shop you're considering having them refinished by before committing to a sale - just to make sure they can do it.
man, I just bought/installed Rays with a polished/anodized lip, pics like that give me nightmares.
Pepepr, you have GTS, so they couldnt have been more than 18 months old. Have a detailing mishap or did road grime get them?

My wheels were less than a year old and the lip started to get hazed. id repolish them and a week or two later, they would look hazed again. Im sure that the car wash was to blame. It gets waaaay too cold around here to wash a car in the winter so the car wash is much easier.

those wheels look as if it were snowing and the driver drove them repeatedly in all the snow and salt they throw down. If they are a GOOD price, Id cop 'em then take em over to SL Metals on Long Island. He has great prices and works magic
