Re: HELP!! Wheel & tires G-experts

go with the Azenis all around if anything, I think a 255 in the front is a little big, you can always go with Bridgestone S0-3 they make a 285(R) and 245(F) but they are on the expensive side

G35 Diva... if you haven't decided, you may want to check this site up: 1010tires.com tire size calculator. it'll show you what tires are available for each particular size...

stock: f: 225/45/18 = 800.9 revs/mi
r: 245/45/18 = 779.6
* diameter difference = 2.67% (stagger)

19" f: 245/35/19 = 807.7 (bridgestone p. so-3)
r: 275/35/19 = 782.8 (bridgestone p. so-3)
* diameter diff = 3.09% - my choice taking cost and risk of damage into consideration

20" f: 245/30/20 = 806.8 (dunlop sp sport 9000)
r: 285/30/20 = 778.1 (dunlop, so-3, grb fk451,pilot)
* diameter diff = 3.56% --> still close to stock sizes

option:
f: 245/30/20 = 806.8
opt r: 275/30/20 = 785.2 (so-3,pilot,toyo)
* diameter diff = 2.69% --> closer

** 245/35/20 (f)= 777.5 revs/mi or 84.03in circumference ---> if combined w/ any rear tire size, it'll have almost the same diameter or circumference (e.g. 83.97 in circ. for 285/30/20) losing the staggering of f and r wheels...
... this is just something to consider, i may be wrong on this so please for anyone who'd read it, please double check. i just based this on the site above. thanks!

Re: HELP!! Wheel & tires G-experts

Thanks Nismo, Laser & Tim. Wow Laser, you really went there. (smile) Very helpful info. I found that website the other night and it has lots & lots of reviews.

I think I've narrowed it to Toyos or Nittos, since I can't use the Falkens. I don't want Bridgestones since I read several complaints about the tires sticking to the grooves on the freeway and pulling the car all over the road. I definitely know first hand about that, so they are out. I read about the Michelin Pilot P2's and they sound awesome to the tune of $1400. However, I seem to change my mind daily....as I continue to read reviews. I think I'm getting close now though. We'll see.....

Thanks again guys for your help.
