Stock 19's Tire help Plz.....

I've been SCOURING the boards looking for answers to what kind of tires to get for my 2005 G35 6MT. Tirerack seems to be the way to go, even though they ain't got shait in stock..... I'm in hawaii and discount tire and TDL? or something like that charge almost 3 times the amount for shipping that tirerack does.....

Is it better to do the 225/40/19 and 245/45/19's staggered OR

245/40/19 all around?

Thanks in advance for your help, I really appreciate it. The road noise from my stock tires are freaking killing me! But on the bright side I got almost 21K miles out of them.

I would recommend 245/35/19 front and 245/40/19 rear is you want to run the same widths all around. There is no point in running the same sized tires all around anyways because you can't rotate due to the different wheel widths front and rear. The VDC can also have issues with changing the stock height stagger

What he said.

And yes, the stock tires sizes are the same regardless of location. 245/40/19 in the rear.

From what I read, if you keep the stagger within 5%, you "should" be okay. Or what ever % diff the oem stagger is, that should be maintained.

Then the dealer put on the wrong sized tire for the front.

245/35/19 and 255/40/19 here. No problems although my rears are pretty tall compared to fronts
