Lost me wheel lock. Anyone try gator grip?

Actually the body shop that repaired my car lost my key but won't admit it. Anyone try using this to remove wheel locks?

I don't want to fork over 25 bucks for infiniti to do it.

try hammering on a socket roughly the size of the lock, you can usually get enough grip to twist them off. if it's only 25 bucks at the dealer though you should just do that

if they are the same oem locks that i have it will. it works on all McGards unless they are ridiculously tight. I just googled it and someone says 15/16" but i can't vouch for that

yea, I'm just going to go to the dealership. The 25 bucks isn't bad but it's a 45 minute drive each way plus however long they take to do it. So basically 2 hours wasted because the F-ing shop won't own up to losing my key.

That sucks. Same thing happened to me. I just called the dealership to take them off and they didn't charge me anything. Bring or go get extra lug nuts to replace for those wheel locks. You don't want to pay for extra lug nuts at the dealership or buy a new set of wheel locks from them. If they're charging you $25 to take them off you don't want to pay any more to just put a set of lug nuts back on. You can get better wheel locks than the OEM for cheaper than stealership anywhere. I bought a full set of Gorilla splined lugs (that's 20 wheel locks!) for $40 which is what the dealership will charge you for a set of 4 McGard locks.
