I'm pretty sure Stillen makes them for our cars as well.

Re: Stainless brake lines...

I don't think Stillen makes them, rather, they offer a brand called... Goodrich? Good stuff.

Yeah, so Stillen marks them up by 30% and pockets a
huge profit. We need to be able to cut out the middle man.

Re: Stainless brake lines...

I'd like to buy them for $199. Where did you see them for that price?

Also, does anyone have these on them?

Thanks!

Re: Stainless brake lines...

Stock brake lines are rubber, so some of your braking force is wasted as the lines swell under hard braking. Braided SS lines will not swell at all, so all of your braking force is transmitted to the calipers. I like my SS brake lines.

Re: Stainless brake lines...

Gsedan_35,

Do you have the Russell brake lines? I've heard of Goodrich's (not B.F.) brake lines. I know they are DOT approved (something that is necessary if you want Infiniiti to not void your warranty). Do you know about the Russell's?

Thanks everyone for the information!

Re: Stainless brake lines...

This website has some of the best prices I have ever been able to find:

http://store.yahoo.com/southwestauto.../ststbrli.html

The particular item above is for the Z, however if you call the guys at the number on the website they can get the G sedan ones as well for about the same price.

A number 1 Service, I have spent thousands with these guys

Re: Stainless brake lines...

When it comes to some things: power tools, aftermarket car components, and w--- wine... go the extra nickel and go first class. I've never been disappointed with a quality piece, but I almost always have been disappointed with the cheap stuff.
