the RE050a is a 140 treadwear...

not that the numbers are a REAL indicator of performance...

my RE070's are also 140, and so are S02s, RE01Rs, and RE050aPP....

all are tires i'd consider pretty damn close in comparison...

I am thinking about filling them up with fix-a-flat foam. Maybe that will stiffen them up.

At the track with hoosier A6, I might run 40psi upward.

but FYI, Toyo T1R is hell a lot lighter than BStone RE050.

how many miles you have on the T1R? Once the tires are fully broken in, they will be a lot better.
Trust me, I was originally running 34 pounds and it was scary.

yup... and a great way to take one person's review to make a decision about purchasing a tire.

And remember, this is just MY experience, NOT the final word on Toyo T1R's.

I run Toyo T1R's and I think they are much better than the OEM Bridgestones. These are alot wider than the original and I run ~32-34 PSI in them. I would never run more than 35 PSI in them though.

seems like you have more problem than just tires then.
I have lots of seat time at the track on both 4 wheels and 2 wheels, tire pressure is one of the most important thing.

May I ask what's your alignment setting?

Aren't the RE050A's 140?

EDIT: Just saw Mike was already on that.
