my RE070's are also 140, and so are S02s, RE01Rs, and RE050aPP....
all are tires i'd consider pretty damn close in comparison...

how many miles you have on the T1R? Once the tires are fully broken in, they will be a lot better.
first you run way too much pressure for street tires, that might have something to do with the twitchy response. I wouldn't run anything more than 35psi cold on street tires.
At the track with hoosier A6, I might run 40psi upward.
