MRR quality

I searched threads, but haven't seen anybody say if the MRR's are a good quality rim. I've read about the TSW's and Sevas. Majority say to stay away from those. I'm looking at the chrome GT-1's and chrome HR2's. Leaning more towards the HR2's. I just don't want to spend the money on a rim that will bend, crack or flake.

On these forums, if you dont get Volk or another ~$4,000 set of rims, they are considered cheap.

That is why I'm asking the question. Why? I read ASA's are heavy and bend. People don't like TSW's either. And sevas, people say are junk, but why? I just want to make a good purchase. I can't afford a $4000 wheel set. Sorry! So, in my price bracket $2000-$2500, I want to know what is wrong with some of these rims.

Use that money and buy a used set of good wheels.

The cheap sets of wheels are usually cast and not forged. They are heavy, prone to cracking, and not as good quality as some others. Spend your money on a used set of Volk or Works or something or save more. You will be much happier.

Thanks SBECK. You know what? I didn't even think of looking on e-bay or something for a used set. I had new(not used) on my mind. I'll look at prices. So forged is the way to go?

If you can afford it go forged. I got the tenzo type M's and I love them, and so does everyone who sees them and they are within your budget.
