Guys,
I have decided to go with the GT-S. However, I'm racking my brain with which color to go with, Merc Silver or Tit GM. I have an 06 LP coupe and have not seen ANY Tit GM on this color, just GM. I know GM is too dark for the look I'm going for and Ralph004 has Merc Silver on his LP coupe which looks awesome. The only thing with Merc Silver is EVERYTHING is silver, but have not seen any Tit GM on LP. I've searched and searched and found nothing. Anyone have pics or recommendations on what route I should go? All your help is appreciated. Thanks.

aren't gunmetal and titanium gunmetal the same color?

 

i don't think so, i believe titanium gm is a "lighter" shade of gm...right?? if not, then i'm a moron!!!1

 

pictures? I've only heard of titanium gunmetal from Volk, and some people may have just left the titanium part off

 

dude, i'm a noob, in that case, if gm and tit gm are the same, which ones would you go for on a LP coupe...merc silver or gm?? also, haven't seen any LP coupes with gm gts...believe me, i've searched my azz off!!!

 

ti gun IS a lighter version of the gun... check out gunmetal sf-challenges versus ti gun gt-v's.
anyways, you should go with merc silver... besides looking better, that color has more demand than ti gun if you ever wanna sell.

 

hey thanks man...really appreciate it. i know 1 vendor that has them in stock right now. however, i hope i'm making the right choice...been wanting wheels for 6 months now and i keep going back to the gt-s.

 

actually, there is a difference, the tit gunmetal is a flat finish, while the gunmetal is a gloss, not sure about the actual color though

 

yeah, i knew i wasn't crazy. now that i'm thinking about it, since it's such a huge purchase, i'm not sure what wheels i want to do now...hahaha. thanks for the response.

 

^ too funny. I have a LP and just bought a brand new set of GTS-S's in Merc Silv. Looking for tires? i have a brand new set of BF Goodrich Gforces. their too thick for me so i just ordered a set of Toyo's. Let me know and good luck.

 

who did you get your wheels from...a vendor or private?? if vendor, who??

 

i looked in the catalog for volk and the color listed for the GTS is tit gunmetal, along with gold, merc silver, chrome silver, RMC (Rays Metal Coat). There is an extra charge for RMC and Merc Silver. I guess if you want them in just gunmetal, that may be considered a special order color and you would have to pay extra for that.
