17" coupe wheels on a sedan = Bearing noise?
so after picking up my 17" staggered coupe wheels from the powder coating shop and getting the Kuhmo ecstas reinstalled i mounted the wheels and much to my chagrin i am getting a WICKED amount of road noise and bearing noise and grisnding in the brake that i can feel in the wheel and the pedals. im guessing its most likely the change from 17x7 +42's to 17x7.5 +35 with the wider tires. but is it possible its the tires? maybe theyre mounted on teh opposite sides of how the previous owner had them. any suggestions? the brakes are also BRAND new pads and rotors that were just changed last month and it ran like a top til i changed the wheels. im not rerally big on the look of the +35 fronts anyway so i may put them on the back and get my 7" stocks pc'd to match and sell the other +33 rears with the other 2 +42 &" to a Silvia owner or something. but anyway, any suggestions. could i have maybe bent a heat shield while installing the wheels or is this a common problem with aftermarket or wider wheels? the car has 98K Miles on it. so its getting to be on the verge of its bearing expectency anyway.
so...bearings? ****ty tires? brake problem? wheels to wide?added stress?
