Tire Leak

My driver's side rear tire is leaking pretty bad. It loses about 10 psi per day, sometimes 20, depending on how much I drive. It's only been happening for 2 days, but I haven't had the time to do anything about it. I'm leaving for the whole summer tomorrow and the car will sit in the garage for that time period. I doubt I will have time to repair it and probably won't get a new tire anyway since I would rather keep the money for my summer trip. Anyone have any suggestions for what I should do in terms of storage? I don't want the tire to deflate and get damaged by the rim while I am gone.

Should I leave the rear on jack stands or something?

Yeah, I expect to get a new tire, but no sense in getting one now right before my 3 month trip. I'll leave it on stands while I'm gone, pump new air into it when I get back and get to the tire shop. It holds up for a day or 2 on air; it's a slow leak.

Not sure if it's a nail. Happened after I did a donut in the parking lot the other day. Two hours after my sensor was lighting up, next day I was at 20 psi.

or you can put fix a flat in your tire. so while your gone your tire will still be inflated, if the the can of "Fix a Flat" works.

Common sence....what's that?

How is it that a person can afford an Infiniti vehicle and won't spend the time
to have a flat fixed. If the tires blows and you destroy your rim then you can
pat yourself on the back and say, "Holy ****, I am stupid!"

because i don't spend my entire life worrying about my car? In case it gets damaged it gives me more reason to buy new rims and all new tires. And sorry but infiniti isn't top of the line or anything so don't act like I just crashed my Lambo into a wall and still driving it.

Man this board is full of flamers.

this board is full of flamers? so with those 5 replies you got, they were all flamers?
I don't spend my entire life worrying about my car either, but I would fix something like a flat on my tire right away...can't be that expensive right?

i dont care what your priority is, but a car is a pretty big investment, so at least i would patch the tire up...
