Gen. Opinion on wheels styles.

Wife found a wheel she liked and I kinda like myself, any opinions? I was wanting more of a machined finish but I think this might be okay...

It's a 19x8 and a 19x9.5, both with a 40 offset.... and under $1k.

Wife likes this one also, but not sure, and I know a lot of you aren't Axis fans...

Same sizes (19x8 and 19x9.5) but front offset is 35 and rear is 40.

so these are for a sedan right? cause they are in the sedan offset range. if she likes them, then get them.

sorry bout that, was just coming back to update year. yea, it's for an 08 sedan. overall, i think i like the first one better but I wasn't wanting fully chromed, however something about the second just makes it look a little cheap to me...

for an 08 sedan, would the +40 or +35 offset be better...

still have a lot more looking to do.

i like the axis wheels better, for the look. the offsets are good, +35 f and +40 rear will be fine.

I'm thinking about 245/40/19 fronts and 275/35/19 rears. Any problems with that size with a potential Eibach drop.

EDIT: Was just reading a post by Calvin during a search

Also, how much difference is really noticeable when going to the wider tire like a 275 or 285 / 35 copmared to a non-staggered 255/35 setup? Instead of the 245/40 on the front, I may try the 255/35 depending on tire choices.

if the front rim is 8", a 255 may be a little too much tire, a 235 or 245 will be just fine. as far as the sizes 245/40 and 275/35 in 19", that's ideal for the sedan to keep the overall diameter as close to stock as possible.

thanks for the help. the more I look at the second one, the more I like it. but.... i'm still looking for sure. there's a couple works i like but am waiting on prices back. hate to spend a lot of money on wheels because where i'm at (very rural), there's lots of potholes and crappy roads, so I'd hate to ding up a high high dollar wheel if its not necessary... i'd feel more comfortable with something more inexpensive.
