I feel like a noob again . . . .
So after 2 years of rollin on my Work VS-XX, I am once again rollin on some OEM 19's w/TPMS. Now these are not the original OEM 19's that came with my G. I just picked these up from another member. So of course the TPMS light is coming on because my G doesn't recognize the sensors on these OEM 19's. My question is, will resetting the ECU also reset the TPMS or is my only option going to the stealership to have them reset the TPMS so that my G recognizes them. And yes, I searched but couldn't really find the answer that I was looking for.

yup no choice but to have them program them if they arent the ones that came with your car. how long before you plan on new wheels? are you planning on using these sensors on your new wheels? id just leave the light because then you're just going to have to pay twice if you get another set. just a thought.

well i know ford(some models the ones with a valve stem mounted sensor) all u gotta do is put the car in TPMS training mode (for ford its off to run 3 times, press the brake and off to run 3 more times and the horn honks) then u go around to each tire starting with the LF and place a magnent around or by the sensor(the valve stem) and the horn honks and u go to the next wheel(LF,RF,RR,RL)...once u go to each sensor and the car honks then it says training complete......... it might be similar(kinda like key fob programing) does anyone have a factory manual that says how to enter the training/reset mode?
