blackonblackG: kumos ecsta 712... 235/40/zr18

note: my tire/rim combo is 3.5% smaller in diameter than oem, contributing the lower overall height.

Re: sedan on s-teins and a 7-up can..

Well all I had were a bunch of questions. How is the ride and handling compared to the stock sports suspension? Any alignment or clearance issues? Does it seem to understeer more ? I ask because I'm comparing the S-techs to the 04 350Z suspension. Gsedan35 has advised me that the S-techs were based on the non-sport suspension and will transfer more weight to the front wheels, thereby increasing understeer. The Z suspension should keep things balanced but I'm concerned about the ride getting stiffer ( something I CANNOT let happen due to the uses of this car ).

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Ok, if you can't let the ride get stiffer, then don't get the Z suspension. The 04 Z setup was revised vs the 03 setup to ride better, but I'd be concerned that it would be too stiff for you. How much of a drop were you looking for? Just oem Z or coupe springs may be your best performance bet.
