Heres an idea of how much drop the S techs will give to your coupe with 19's.

Re: before and after pictures of drop
i'm always thinking about lowering my coupe as well. i'm always reluctant though because i hear about having to re-align the car and adjusting the camber or something like that or threadwear will be affected. is that true? also, is the ride much different than stock?
Re: before and after pictures of drop
i feel you on that one z2g, i want to lower my car too. i just picked it up a month ago from today and the first things i want to do is suspension and sways. i hear that you need camber kits or something like that when you lower it so i'm gonna save up and get everything in one shot. now if i could just get my hands on some $ for 19" nismos

I'm letting the springs settle before I get it aligned. I'm pretty sure that I'll need to get camber kits for the front and rear. It rides exactly like stock.

Yeah I want this answer too. I'm looking into springs since our stock suspension is good enough. I just want something a little stiffer and lower.

no matter what kind of springs you put into your car, you will need an alignment at the least. camber correction parts are very likely too. the general rule for the G is that for every inch you lower it, your camber will move 1 degree negative. so you can count on some pretty bad camber in the rear.
even if you take your suspension apart, and reinstall all of the stock parts...you will need an alignment!!
let's put this question to rest.

I should've known this couldn't be a nice simple and cheap mod. So it sounds to me you're out about atleast $600 (that assumes you do everything yourself) just to lower your car. Damn that is annoying! I wish I could just slap the springs on, get an alignment and be done with it.

ok i know alot of you guys pmed me about this camber problem. As soon as i get my camera fixed i will explain everything to you.
But as for dropping the car. Its not advised to drop the car with just springs. What i have been told is the stock shock cant handle it and eventually will give out.
Just spend the money on getting the shocks of even better get coilovers. I will post the pics up by wed for what CAMBER is.
