Ok, how about the 18 OEM's nonstaggered? What will those be like? how will the nonstaggered be compared to my current stock setup with staggered 17's? I may be completely off base but I thought rotating tires was a positive so as to increase tread life? I do like the 19's... now I just have to find some! Ok, we can get past the 20's... if you guys are willing to insist that much I have to listen, that is why I asked after all!
The oem 18" wheels are not staggered but the tire sizes that are installed on them are. 225/45/18 on the front and 245/45/18 on the rear for the coupe. Running nonstaggered can cause issues with the VDC and can make your odometer/speedometer readings incorrect because the rolling circumference will change. It will also change the handling dynamics of the car, possibly for the worse depending on which nonstaggered setup you choose

I thought the staggered refered to the width of the tire, not the height of the tire thus leaving the odemeter/spedo readings the same as the roling circumference wouldn't change? thought the only difference between the front and rear was the amount of tire on the ground...

Will it affect my speedo/odometer by going from 17 to 18? Didn't think it would as the 18's have a shorter tire (so as to make the rolling circumference the same as the 17's with a taller tire?)

Thanks for the info...
