20" Neeper Moxy Wheels - 295/30 in the back?

Hi Guys,

After some trial and error with wheel decisions, I need one final input on this:

offset front and back is +24mm.
front lip is 2 inches, back rim lip is 3.5 inches
Rims made by Moxy- Fronts are 20x 8.5 Backs are 20 x 10
Toyo tires Front size 97w 255/35/zr20 Back tires size 101w 295/30/zr20

My car is an 03 G35 Coupe - no brembos.

Just need a final input on this. I dont plan on lowering the car and i'm hoping they would sit flush with the wheels without any rubbing - even with 4 people.

Thanks,
Ash

285/30/20 will work well on the 20x10s.

Sean,

So would 295/30 be pushing the envelope? I saw a forum where someone has these in the back but there wasn't any offset mentioned.

255/35 is ok for fronts?

Thanks,
Ash

The 295's may rub. 285 will be a better fit on the 10 inch wide rims. It will have a good look. Plus, 295's are harder to find.

255/30/20 is the froper front tire size. 255/35/30 is too tall up front and is actually taller than the rear tire. It will work if you really want to use the 35 series.

I have 285's on my 20x 10 rears. No reason to go any larger on a 10 inch rim.

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the quick response. The reason I want to know about this particular setup is because I am buying it used. They're actually new and not "used" since the buyer decided to go with other wheels. It's worth it for me for $800 lesser than market value.

I just dont want to have it put on and it rips the s*** out of everything.

Thanks!

You are buying the rims with the 295 tires already on them?

Yeah, they have the 295's already on them. I was going to buy them as a set.

You'll want 255/30 to stay in spec, and match the rear 295/30. Seriously.

Try it with the 295s. You may have to roll your rear fenders.
